Zach left for the road trip and I cooked, cleaned, went grocery shopping, and watched more of The Bachelorette. Such an exciting day.

The sun was shining and I was not about to sit in the apartment. I went out and about. Along with everyone else in Sendai. Apparently it was a holiday and everyone had off work. I was so annoyed. I was out power walking trying to get some exercise and everyone was walking so slow. I never stepped on so many backs of shoes in my life.
During the game, when Zach was up to bat he got hit in the thumb by a pitch. His thumb is fractured and he will be out for 4-6 weeks. I swear the bad luck cloud follows him no matter where he goes.

Zach came back to Sendai 2 days early from the road trip since he's not able to do much of anything. We are trying to make the best out of the situation by keeping busy and staying positive.
