Sandy, a pitcher's wife, showed me all of the different places to get groceries. This is their 6th year in Japan, but 1st year in Sendai. The one grocery store delivers the groceries right to your door for free if you spend $50 or more. That was the best news, ever! No more carrying all the groceries back. The only bad part? Putting them all away. No fun.
Sandy just had her 4th baby a week ago and you would never be able to tell. Her mom is in town helping her out, so Naru and I decided to take her out for a drink. We had the delicious American Lemonade and a shot of something strong. What a fun night!

I was bored without Zach in town, so I decided to deep clean the entire apartment. I also watched 5 episodes of The Bachelorette. I never realized how hooked I was on reality TV, until I had a full day of nothing to do. Sandy had me over for dinner and I had such a good time playing with her kids. I'm so lucky they are only a floor above me. When I got home, I watched yet another episode of The Bachelorette.

I had lunch with Naru and Natsumi. Natsumi is another translator and a cheerleader for the Rakuten Eagles.
For dinner, Sandy had all of us over for Mexican night. I made a taco dip and macaroni and cheese. Naru helped me and she sampled the macaroni and cheese, too. Can you believe she never had Kraft Macaroni & Cheese? Sandy made delicious, out of this world, pulled pork tacos. We had a ton of fun and so much food! The only thing missing... Margaritas! We could not find any tequila!
